Resources for dealing with floods during a bike tour

During this past 7 months that I've been travelling, I've had to look out for two flood events (so far). First in northern Victoria and at the moment in northern NSW.

I'll add other states to this when I get a chance, but this could be used as a guide to what to look for regardless.

Regional areas will also have community meetings run by the SES to inform when they need to.

I had trouble viewing this site with my mobile phone so instead I bookmarked the URL for the RSS feed for the region I required.
